Yesterday, on the 3rd March, I believe it was, I went to Kingswood. I have been thinking about changing schools for the past year. >.> If you read this Mikey, don’t you dare “chat” about it in the teachers lounge. Last time I mentioned that I might leave Croydon Secondary College, 3 years ago, three teachers came up to me, almost begging me not to leave -.-
Kingswood is amazing. Heh, I fell in love with it straight away ^-^ I’m particularly interested in “the sciences” and from what I’ve seen, Kingswood would offer me a better selection and better facilities. 
The teachers are friendly, and they seem to enjoy their job, which is always a good sign. :]
Also, my best friend from Primary School is doing year 9 at Kingswood at the moment, and I would love to be able to hang out with her more often ^-^
Ah, it’s a tough decision.
Mum would have to get a job. I wouldn’t get home until around 5pm every night. I would have to get up early. I would miss all my friends at Croydon heaps. I would miss a few of the teachers…. Sigh, so I’m not even sure I could handle it.
I might decide to stay at Croydon after all, but there’s no rush… I have a year to decide.

Oh, also, here’s another idea.
This Christmas, Mum and her Sister, have decided not to give us “kids” presents this year, seen as Christmas is really all about family anyway. (And we’re all 15+, so we dont really need presents)
Instead, we’re going to split the money that we would have spent on buying presents, and donate it to an Animal/Pet Foundation, and the Salvation Army? We haven’t decided which Foundations yet.
I think this is a great idea, and I feel glad that the money that would have been spent on me, is going to people and animals that need it the most. ^-^

Who is responsible?
It is hard to point the finger at one particular person, I think that it was partly the victims fault (the girl that was abused) and also the Abusers (the 12 boys), and yes, every single one of thoses boys are to blame.

The girl, because she agreed to meet these boys (well, a few of them anyway) when she only really knew them over the internet, as in, they had never met before in person.
And the boys, because they were the ones that did it, who betrayed the girl’s trust in them.

My story is a fantasy novel, so it might sound a bit weird but hopefully it will turn out ok.

Brenneka wakes up and she realises that the village is being raided. Not a problem, seen as her village have all the best and strongest warriors (male and FEMALE, just to make that clear) But then she gets to wondering, why is her village being raided? who in their right mind would send out warriors to attack her home when they wouldn’t have a chance?
The raiders are being pushed back, then two creatures come out of the darkness, the raiders cheer because they know that they can win now. The creatures are huge, dog/bull monsters. They have black, wolf-like faces with empty eye sockets and they have huge, dripping fangs. The bottom half of their bodies are bull-like with huge hoof feet and long hairy wolfy tails. All their fur is black but in some places their fur has rotted away.
They step forward, but the warriors stand their ground. The creatures (haven’t thought of a name for them yet) attack like vicious, wild wolves, killing everything it their way.
Then Sybrant, Brenneka’s brother, steps forth and they grab him and run away while the raiders push forward. Brenneka can’t go after her brother.
The leader of the raiders panics. Those creatures weren’t ment to go yet, that wasn’t part of the deal so the raiders retreat. Later, the village find a mangled body, Brenneka’s brother.

(Ok, that was the start of my story. I wanted to make sure I got everything down here, so that I wouldn’t forget it later)

The rest of the story Im still not too sure about.
I know that Brenneka gets given an egg by her father before she leaves to avenge her brother. She follows the tracks that the creatures left behind. Later on in her travels, she notices that in some of tha tracks, it looks like there might be three creatures?
Anyway, somewhere in this part of the story, there is going to be an event but I haven’t thought of it yet =S.
She lost the tracks sometime, she meets someone who travels with her. Her egg hatches and it’s a little birdy.
Then at the end, she finds out that the creatures where sent by an evil person.

I don’t want to tell you what happens in the end ^-^ so I’ll leave it at that.

a) The Doctor I prejudice against the Daleks because they were the cause of his people’s destruction.

At the end of the episode, Rose asks the Doctor: ‘What are you turning into?’
The Doctor was starting to turn into a Dalek, who kills creatures that aren’t like him.

3.  At the end of the movie, the Dalek asks to be killed because he can’t stand having Rose’s DNA in him. He feels tainted.

4. The Nazis were similar to the Daleks in that the Nazis hated the Jews (thought they weren’t as good as the Germans) and the Daleks hated everyone that wasn’t a Dalek.

5. I don’t think anyone has ever been prejudice against me, but if someone ever was, I’d feel horrible.
I don’t think I’ve ever been  prejudice against somebody else, well, I hope I haven’t because I’m sure they would feel really horrible.

Day 3 (last day!!) :

We met at the station for the last day.
Went through the same routine: Bought our tickets, caught the train to Flinders St Station, went off to out morining activities in our large groups.
Our group got off at Flinders and crossed the road to Federation Square.
OMG, there was a fair thingy on!!!!
We got free balloons ^-^.
           We did a tour of the Ian Potter Gallery, which I have to say, was the highlight of the City Experience. Such beautiful paintings. :) I could've looked at them all day.
Still in the large group, we caught the tram to some road… then we went to Crossways vegetarian restaurant. It was pretty yummy, but I don't thing many of the other people liked it. Grr, evil hamburger eating people…
Finally, we got to go off in our little groups. Yayness! We got to go to the Queen Victoria Market!!!
And Laura bought a little duck. She called him Rodney. :)
I bought a nice prezzie for Mum (it's her b-day soon) and I bought some strawberries, freshly imported from the USA. -_- I learnt the hard way.. Always read the %#%!#n label before you buy. I just presumed that it was Australian grown. Not trying to be racist, but that's the last time I buy anything off an Asian..
That was it. We made our way back to Flinders St Station and caught the train back to Croydon Station.
End of our City Experience trip!!! Yay!!!

Day 2:

We all met up at Croydon Station (again). Very boring.
We caught the train that went to Flinders St, but this time, our group got off at Richmond to do the tour of the MCG.
Im not really in to football and cricket, so it was a little boring for me.
The MCG is really big, that's all I have to say about it…. We also saw the 'Tiger's' locker room.
After our tour, we went to Southgate food court thingy for lunch. I bought a really yummy Boost Juice :).
After our lunch, we slurped on 'Boost Juice' smoothies and made our way towards the Rialto tower.
We didn't know how to get there, so we just walked in a straight line towards the tallest building….  From up there, you get a 360 degree view of the whole city. It was pretty disapointing, I didn't know that the Observation deck was a room with glass walls. There was an outside thing, but there were bars that went up to the roof, so you couldn't lean over then edge.. :( Oh well… I was really looking forward to dropping something off the edge of that building, but there was a sign that said you weren't allowed to drop anything off the edge, you could kill someone! (hehe, I wanted to drop a sharp pencil off the edge, just to see what would happen..;))

After we did the boring questions, we went down the lift and caught the tram to Swanston St, I think, then walked to China Town. There wasn't much to do there, it's just a long, narrow street, filled with Chinese and Japanese restaurants. China Town was pretty boring, so Laura and Lauren went off to look at shops, and Bec, Jarra and me walked up a down China Town doing some of the questions.
After Laura and Lauren had finished looking at stuff, we met back up and caught the tram back to Flinders St Station.
At 3:00pm we caught the train back to Croydon Station.
End of Day 2 at the City.

Day 1:

It was a freezing cold morning. We all met up outside Croydon station at 8:45am on the 30th of May. We were given a booklet, that included a map and tasks that we had to complete while we were at the city.
We caught the 9:02 train to Flinders St Station.
We were split up into 3 large groups. One of the groups got off at Richmond, to do a tour of the MCG.  The rest of us got off at Flinders.
I think I hate the city, well, I wouldn't like to live there. To much pollution. And to many pigeons…
Anyway, my group, Group 1, caught the tram to La Trobe Street, then we walked to the Old Melbourne Gaol.
It was ok I guess. Bit creepy…. The prisoners got little cells full of bugs and lice and what-not.
And when they died, the guards would make wax masks. Very creepy and very disgusting… The doctors in those days believed that the crimes you committed, the way you thought, had to do with the shape of your skull.
Lol, nice try. Turns out that the shape of people's heads has nothing to do with committing crime.
After the tour, we went to a monument, that commemorates the 8 hour movement, and the Trades Hall.
Then we split up into our little groups. Actually, ours wasn't that small.
There was Laura, Lauren, Jarra, Bec and Myself.
We had to catch the City Circle Tram (Yay! You can ride it for free!) and went all the way to the Docklands.
If you ever visit Melbourne, don't go to the Docklands. It smells like shit.
The only good thing about it is that there is a really good ice-cream shop by the water. :)
We did the boring questions and did the rest of the City Cirle Tram back to Flinders St.
That's pretty much it. Got back to Flinders St Station an hour early, then when everyone else got there, we caught the train back to Croydon.

Did you have trouble getting to the places you needed to be?
We were given clear instructions but we got a bit lost when we had to go to China Town because we weren’t told that “Market Lane” was along China Town and it took us ages to find.
Were the maps you had useful (did they help you find your way)?
Yes, we wouldn’t have been able to get around the city without one.
Did you work effectively as a team?
Yes, we all worked together to get to each place.
Which was your favourite activity?
Going to the Ian Potter Gallery at Federation Square and seeing all the beautiful paintings.
What activities would you not do again?
Docklands because it smells and there isn’t much to see there except for industrial sites.
What were the highlights of the City Experience for you?
Going around the city without any teachers/adults around.
What surprised you most about the city?
The lack of trees and free blocks, I thought there would be more space.
What were the main problems you encountered?
We didn’t have any problems.
If you organized the City Experience next year, what changes would you make?
None
Explain why you did or did not enjoy the City Experience as a whole.
I enjoyed it because we got to go off with our friends for the day.
We had loads more freedom and it was fun making our own way around the city.

Being thought of as a stereotype person could affect your job choices and your life.
You might not be allowed to do certain jobs because of what people think about you and how you should act.
Stereotype people would probably be put down because of the way other people thought they acted. Stereotype people are only stereotypes because of what other people think about them, and other peoples views aren't always correct.

ooo, well, I chose “the times they are a changin’” by Bob Dylan because it was the only song about change that I could find.
It’s about change, obviously, and about keeping up with the world changing.
He writes about change being sad, because sometimes you miss out on things, and happy about the future and all the things to look forward to. ^-^

Characters:

• Billy is a 16 year old kid who leaves his home and catches the train west. He also likes to read alot.
• Ernie is a train driver who lets Billy ride the train to Benderat for free.

Setting:

• Nowheresville, Billy’s home town
• Train to Benderat

Events:

• Billy leaves home and takes his father’s beer and Billy says goodbye to his dog and his school.
• He jumps on the train to Benderat and meets the kind train driver, Ernie.

Mood:

The chapter makes you feel sad because Billy is leaving his home and his father. It also makes you feel reckless because he’s running away to start a new life in a different town.
